Located in Westerpark, Westergasfabriek is a bustling cultural complex created out of the city’s old municipal gasworks buildings. Here you’ll find loads of places to eat, drink and be merry, such as excellent brewery bar Troost, Mossel & Gin restaurant, North Sea Jazz Club, het Ketelhuis cinema (watch out for outdoor film screenings in the summer) and Pacific Park for fun rock n roll nights out.

Markets and events at Westergasfabriek

There’s always something going on at Westergasfabriek, with regular events, fairs, festivals and markets. Our favourite is the Sunday Market which takes place here on the first Sunday of the month (though check the agenda to make sure), and takes over the whole place with food trucks, stalls selling a variety of beautiful handmade homeware, fashion, art and food and drink, and live music.
