One for a special occasion, De Kas is a beautiful restaurant located in Park Frankendael in Amsterdam East. The building used to be the city’s municipal greenhouse, and ingredients are grown in the surrounding kitchen garden, so you’re always guaranteed fresh, seasonal flavours from the ever changing menu. Light, bright, airy and romantic, it’s a magical spot by day and night.
Tip: De Kas is Amsterdam’s worst kept secret, so you’ll need to book well in advance if you want a table on a Friday or Saturday night. If you can’t get in, try a relaxed lunch date instead, and walk off your lunch in the gorgeous Park Frankendael.
